THe only lake tube you'll ever need!

I first bought one of these Intex River Run Tubes for the express purpose of tubing down the Maury River in Lexington, VA, home of my Alma Mater, Washington and Lee University.  If you do river tubing, all of this applies too.  Now that I've moved from the river to the lake, I have found that this tube is THE BEST tube for all of your lake floating activities.  These tubes can take a beating without breaking, ensuring that you will definitely get your money's worth.  Now I've floated in quite a few tubes in my life, but these will be the last tubes I ever buy for my leisure activities!  Perhaps the best thing about the Intex River Runs is their semi-rigid mesh liner.  All 220lbs of me has stood straight up on the mesh without any compromise to the integrity of the mesh or tube, and this has several benefits.  First, you can sit in it without having to be in either the overly-extended laying flat with nowhere to put your head lower-back straining position, OR the butt-in-the-water deep "V" position where your knees are up against your chest position. Both are really annoying and not prime for maximum relaxation.  With the built in back rest and firm mesh set-up, there is pretty much no way to be uncomfortable in one of these tubes.  You will be comfortable at all times.  Hot?  Slide more into the mesh to cool off!  Cold?  Lean back just a bit more.  Reading?  No problem.  Kicking your feet up on the cooler?  Nailed it!  Sit-up cross legged?  Yup!

ATTENTION PARENTS:  Your small child will love this tube!  Plus you will enjoy yourself knowing that you kids can sit in this tube and pretty much not be able to get out (results vary by children).  All of my friends have small kids, and we put them in these tubes, and everyone is happy.  This tube is just constructed well, and at under $20, you need to put these on your boat!  ATTENTION DOG OWNERS:  Your large or small dog will also love this tube!  Murphy floats in our tubes and seems to enjoy it.  The walls are thick enough that I don't worry about his claws popping it.

I have battle tested these tubes on Rivers, in Lakes, and even gone snow tubing with them, and I can't state it enough...they are amazing.  I'm not typically easy on my toys, and these have withstood a lot of abuse.  Each tube also comes with a patch kit that works fine, but again, at the price, you aren't breaking the bank to replace them.  If you're looking for a tube to float on, this is the one for you, plain and simple.  Of course you may not always be in the mood for a tube float, and I've got some great other floating toys and methods that I'll be bringing you over the summer!
